## Establishing
Really easy. I feel comfortable on the starting holds.
## First Move
This move is kind of reachy to a shallow pocket. It’s not too bad and I can get it each time.
## Second Move
It’s a better pocket for the left hand and this is the start of the [[rose move]]. The left foot could either be on the right-hand start hold or the right foot could be all the way to the right. The left foot is better if you have the mobility to be scrunched in a [[hand-foot match]]. The right foot is good if you have the strength to [[cut feet]].
## Third Move
This is completing the rose move by unfurling the body and reaching out right. It’s moderately far but the foot on the right is good. I really engage the left pec and smear my left foot to stay stable. I also use that left foot smear to push me to the right to better reach that hold.
## Fourth Move
After getting that right hand, I really struggle with the next move. It’s pretty far to the left hand and the left hand is pretty bad—it’s essentially a slope-y crimp.
In all of my past attempts, I’ve tried to do this dynamically, but I might be strong enough to do it statically.
Doing this move statically would mean that I could try the [[static climbing game]] and maintaining four points of contact to put my body in the end position that it would be in when dead hanging from the target hold.
I could also just practice dead hanging from that hold to see what it’s like to be there, and then move backwards.
When I saw my friend, T, do that move and the next move, they didn’t seem that stable. Reaching for that move seemed a little bit desperate, but maintaining it seemed fine. They didn’t really use their left foot to smear and create a stable base of support, which is why they looked like they were dangling.
## Fifth Move
This next move is a little dangling and seeks to stabilize the body after a sequence of unstable moves.
The rest of the climb looks pretty routine from here—like a V2.
## Reflection
I’m not accurate when I do the left dyno. I also feel weak when trying to do the static alternative.
