## Description
A **feelings wheel** is a nested collection of related feelings that describe a few of the many feelings that we feel. Additionally there are many versions of the wheel, which makes it hard to come up with a comprehensive wheel. [[Geoffrey Roberts]] provides the following explanation for their choices, and it really resonates with me.
> I work with people who have limited vocabulary and as a result the intensity of their negative emotions and experiences is heightened because they can't describe their feelings (especially negative feelings). Being able to identify how we are feeling has been shown to reduce this intensity of experience because it re-engages our rational mind.
