## Ingredients
- 200 mL soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp natural sweetener (some kind of sugar, white, brown, cane, or even honey) + another
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- black pepper
### Optional
- 50g some kind of tenderizer (Asian pear purée, Bosc pear purée, kiwi purée, pineapple purée, soda)*
- Sliced carrots
- Sliced yellow/white onion
- Sliced green onion
- Sliced shiitake mushrooms
- Sesame seeds
All tenderizer amounts vary, but you don’t need that much and you should replace the appropriate amount of sweetener. Adding a tenderizer will shorten the marinade time from 1-24 hours in advance to 1-8 hours.
